Diploma in Aviation Science

 

The Diploma In Aviation Science is a 2 year, full time, fully funded qualification offered in conjuction with Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology.


Students are equipped with a broad range of skills for working as a pilot or instructor in the aviation industry. The programme integrates the theory and practice of flying an aeroplane with the priciples of aviation science and management. The course will normally take from 24 months to 30 months to complete.

Students may complete one of the following, or complete more than one module i.e. ATPL + Air Instruction:

  1. Diploma in Aviation Science (Management)
  2. Diploma in Aviation Science (Air Instruction)
  3. Diploma in Aviation Science (ATPL)

  1. Private Pilots Licence
  2. Commercial Pilots Licence
  3. Multi Engine Instrument Rating
  4. 4 x Diploma Papers
  5. 4 x Aviation Management Papers

Diploma in Aviation Science (Air Instruction)

  1. Private Pilots Licence
  2. Commercial Pilots Licence
  3. Multi Engine Instrument Rating
  4. 4 x Diploma Papers
  5. Instructor Rating 

Diploma in Aviation Science (ATPL)

  1. Private Pilots Licence
  2. Commercial Pilots Licence
  3. Multi Engine Instrument Rating
  4. 4 x Diploma Papers
  5. Airline Transport Licence (Theory Exam Credits) 

This program is run in conjunction with the Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology and Griffith University (Queensland) to provide the best possible combination of training, science and management within one set of qualifications.

We are NZQA Accredited and Approved for Flight Training by the Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand.
